Andrew Muras is a Vice President of MEVATEC Corporation and is responsible for developing and implementing management and business solutions for both industry and government organizations. He leads MEVATEC’s teaching and implementations in activity based techniques and the FASTTRACK.ABMTM approach.
Mr. Muras teaches various courses and workshops in Activity Based Costing/Management and Performance Management techniques around the country. He also teaches the Strategic Cost Management Framework course for CAM-I (Consortium for Advanced Manufacturing – International), the leading think-tank for activity based analysis techniques.
Mr. Muras has implemented solutions for both shared services functions and operational business units, ranging from service level agreement and benchmarking through performance measurement, process improvement and outsourcing studies. His professional experience covers all shared services functions, including finance and accounting, information technology, purchasing, HR and payroll, mailrooms, administration and facilities; plus operational business unit analysis, including product costing, capacity analysis and process improvements within manufacturing facilities, warehouses, processing plants and control centers.
Mr. Muras’ clients have included: CITGO Petroleum, Defense Finance and Accounting Service, Equiva Services/Shell Oil, Tarrant County, City of Dallas, Dallas Area Rapid Transit System and Tosco Petroleum. He has also published articles in the Journal of Corporate Accounting and Finance, the Petroleum Accounting and Financial Management Journal, and the Shared Services News.
Mr. Muras has an M.S. in Systems Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic and State University and a B.S. in Aeronautical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
