Each year (27 semester hours) of post-graduate level courses may substitute for one year of experience. Each three years additional experience above the minimum may substitute for an advanced degree.
When providing support, the number of hours at each labor category above are recorded on employee timesheets, entered into our government-approved accounting system, and billed as separate labor line items on the invoice.
All proposals for extended term or lump sum (completion) type efforts are prepared by dividing the project into tasks, phases, or milestones. The proposed price for each is determined by applying the applicable labor category rates against the planned skill mix required for the task or its phases.
If a project has been accepted by the customer as a “fixed price” project, the labor component is then billed as a single line item on the invoice, rather than being broken down by labor category.
Commercial Billing Rates are escalated 3.75% each year beginning on January 1, 2006.
From time to time, BAE SYSTEMS personnel will incur travel and other costs. If travel is reimbursable and not included in the “fixed price” for the job, BAE SYSTEMS will bill travel at actual expenses based on federal travel regulations plus normal indirect costs. Expenses may include, but are not limited to, airfare, per diem, lodging, auto rental, public transportation, and other miscellaneous expenses. Other costs, such as copying, will be billed at actual costs to include a BAE SYSTEMS indirect burden.
