Rob Gordon serves as a Director in the Strategic Sourcing and Organizational Analysis Directorate at BAE SYSTEMS Analytical Solutions Inc. Rob is a nationally recognized A-76 expert who is frequently asked to speak at conferences, symposia, and other forums on issues related to competitive sourcing and A-76 policies and practices. Rob is a retired U. S. Air Force Manpower Officer, where he focused on analyzing manpower requirements, process improvements, and organizational design. During the latter years of his military career, he focused on establishing the AF’s Competitive Sourcing and Privatization program. Rob currently serves as project lead and program manager for several of Analytical Solutions’ A-76 consultancy efforts. He has assisted customers in policy development, advised on developing FAIR Act inventories, assisted in preliminary planning, helped develop optimum packages for competition, as well as both led and conducted numerous cost comparisons.
Rob served on a DoD Select Expert Panel chosen to develop a series of A-76 best practice handbooks where he was the primary author of the handbook covering issues related to study design and execution, packaging and building competitive business units, making inherently Governmental versus commercial activity determinations, and building commercial activity inventories.
